Help someone build a career.
Work alongside individuals in real workplaces as they learn job responsibilities, develop workplace relationships, build confidence and become increasingly independent on the job.
Your work might include:
Helping someone learn a new position
Breaking down job tasks
Building workplace routines
Encouraging communication and self-advocacy
Working with employers and coworkers
Knowing when to coach—and when to step back
🏠 IN-HOME & COMMUNITY SUPPORTS
Help someone build a life.
IHCS happens where life happens—in homes, stores, neighborhoods and communities.
You'll work alongside individuals as they develop skills, pursue personal goals and become more independent in everyday life.
Your work might include:
Shopping and money skills
Meal preparation
Community activities
Transportation skills
Household routines
Building social connections
Working toward individual goals
