About Next Step Supports
I’ve spent more than a decade walking beside individuals whose strength and determination inspire me every day—people with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders who have so much to offer the world when given the chance to shine.
Over the years, I’ve watched lives transform: the excitement of a first paycheck, the confidence of mastering a new skill, the joy of belonging to a team that truly values you. Those moments changed me. They reminded me that when people are seen, supported, and given real opportunity—they thrive.
After twelve incredible years in this field, I decided to take my own next step. I’m betting on myself—on my experience, my passion, and my belief that everyone deserves the chance to build a meaningful, independent life. That belief became the foundation of Next Step Supports LLC.
At Next Step Supports, our mission is to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders to move toward employment, independence, and personal growth.
We provide community-based services that meet people where they are—at home, at work, and in their neighborhoods—because true progress happens in real-life settings. Every service we offer is built on respect, inclusion, and the belief that every person deserves the dignity of opportunity.
Introducing STEP: Striving Toward Employment & Possibilities
From that mission, we created STEP—our signature work readiness program. STEP helps individuals build essential life and employability skills, explore careers, connect with mentors, and discover their unique path toward meaningful work.
Each participant’s journey is guided by their own strengths, interests, and goals. We don’t just prepare people for jobs—we help them uncover what’s possible.
STEP is more than a program. It’s a community of support, encouragement, and growth. It’s where confidence takes root and new possibilities begin.
